The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role ensures the safety and functionality of electrical components to support operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to job specifications.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing devices like ohmmeters or voltmeters.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for accurate installations.
- Ensure compliance with national electric codes and local regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and blueprints interpretation.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues quickly.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
